Brunello 2015 is a great red wine produced form a 5 star vintage. It will transform your meals into unique moments and will make your friends happy if you gift them a bottle at Christmas. It is a family wine born from Donatella Cinelli Colombini’s vines and aged in small oak casks at Casato Prime Donne in Montalcino. It is a rare wine, at present there are only 15.000 bottles of Brunello 2015 in the winery. Its aroma is rich and full of refined nuances, the mouthfeel is intense, it has silky tannins, and the taste is harmonious and lasts at length. This is a wine to be drunk today or to be cellared for a few decades whilst waiting for a great occasion.

A FEW STORIES REGARDING THE BRUNELLO 2015
This great vintage was celebrated already before its release.
The climatic conditions show the typical characteristics of the best Brunello vintages, with rainy Winter and Spring which had well hydrated the soil, a very hot July that blocked the vegetative that had begun early, and an August with storms alternated with hot days, September had great differences between night and day temperatures.
On September 14th 2015 when our consultant, Valerie Lavigne arrived, the grapes were nearly ready to be picked and were at their best. Valerie came with an exceptional guest, the director of the Institute des Sciences de la Vigne et du Vin of the Bordeaux University Denis Dubourdieu, one of the most powerful and most feared men in the wine world. Professor Dubourdieu said only one word to describe the Casato Prime Donne vineyards after having inspected them on foot << impeccable>>, in other words, perfect.
