The Chianti grappas produced by Donatella Cinelli Colombini are distilled in the stills belonging to Fratelli Marolo in Alba.
Discontinuous stills are used for the distillation, with this method the steam yields a purer type of grappa.
The Fratelli Marolo have several distilleries- they are the largest producers of grappa in the world.
